FASHION/ Street Style

Many apologies for my recent lack of posts, I have been ill
(no more hospitals please), but I am much better and more
inspired then ever, which is the great news :) So to restart
my blogging mania, I would like to introduce you to my latest
favourite street style shots. These shots from all over the globe
have definitely got me in the mood for shopping and also
fascination in to the way style trends can come in so quickly.
Some of the trends I have noticed recently are soft colours
such as pastel pink and camel, strappy sandal shoes and a lot
of contrasting strong colours with very very soft colours. I
hope you enjoy the selection x

And here is the rest of it.

Why: Print dress, sequined necklace, studded shoes and side swiped hair

Why: Pastel pink dress with pocket, large black bag brown shoes and thin silver necklace

Why: Oversized camel coloured coat, large brown bag, dark grey stockings and brown shoes

Why: Red and white striped jumper, dark red lips, denim shorts and black shoes

Why: Bright green skirt, white singlet, dreamcatcher necklace and black hat

JEWELLERY/ Maniamania

One of my favourite new Australian based jewellery designers,
Maniamania, have just released the lookbook for their second
collection. Maniamania began when talented stylist Tamila
Purvis and Melanie Kamsler met while working on stylish
Australian magazine Russh and with such a meeting of two
creative and stylish minds, there is no doubting that this label
was going to blow my mind. Maniamania are inspired by the
experimental era's of the 60s and 70s, which comes through
clearly with the chunky metals, large crystals and decadent
designs. These guys are definitely high on my list of inspiring
Australian designers.

PHOTOGRAPHER/ Chris Heads

Bright, bold, flirty, colourful and vibrant, those are only a few
of the many words I could use to describe the fun photography
of Chris Heads. Having shot for Harpers Bazaar, Vanity Fair
and Elle, Head's work effortlessly captures the bustling pop
culture life that we are surrounded by today. Although Head's
was born in France, he manages to capture the American
culture perfectly, possibly because he can view it as a visitor
from the outside.

FASHION/ Random Snaps

It is a stormy grey day here in Sydney, which gave me the
inspiration for today's random snaps post. I have decided to
base this collection of images to the colour red. It is such
a vibrant passionate colour and it always brings a smile to
my face, it definitely helps to bring a bit of light into a grey day.

STYLIST/ Imogen Wilson

I love it when I come across a young new inspiring stylist and
its even more exciting when they come from your neighboring
country, which for me is of course, the beautiful New Zealand.
Imogen Wilson has a really fresh, cool and experimental look
to her styling, but I have to say, there isnt one outfit that I
wouldn't wear yet. I'm sure Imogen is going to be making
waves in the styling industry in the future.

And here is the rest of it.
