ART/ MARK RYDEN

Ever since I was studying art in high school, I have always loved the cute
and quirky designs of the artistic genius, mister mark ryden. His paintings
are a mix between childhood illustrations and really dark depression horror
movies. A mix of pink bunny rabbits and bleeding people makes Mark Ryden
stand out from the rest of the art world. His paintings can often be as small
as a little pocketbook and are quite hard to find if you want to buy one, and
not to mention pricy, but they are lovely to look at. He has done album covers
for bands such as The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Michael Jackson and Jack off Jill.

FILM/ LARS AND THE REAL GIRL



'Lars and the real girl' stars hollywood heartthrob and 'Notebook'
actor Ryan Gosling. This is a strange little movie about a very
reclusive man, who orders a doll off of the internet and in a state
of delsion, believes that the girl is real, and his girlfriend. This
film is sad, happy, funny and lovable. One thing for sure is that it
is not your average story. This story is about love and acceptance,
it really leaves you thinking. It is filmed really lovely and the
story is told well, it will hold your attention and amuse you mind.

TUNES/ PEACHES



The best way I could probably describe Peaches to those who havent heard
her music, is a mix of electronic rave pop. She has done duets with Iggy
Pop and is probably just as wild and crazy as the man himself. Her songs
are catchy and energetic, if you ever get the chance to see her live, she
will no doubt be running around the stage in a sequined leotard and glitter
cape. Peaches is the perfect pick me up for a night out, she is idea to
dance around to in your room like crazy person while you are getting ready. Warning though, there are many risky lyrics your neighbors may not approve of ;)

For only a small fortune, you can grab yourself a pair of these hot Marc Jacobs shoes. I must admit I dont own anything Marc Jacobs (yet!) but i do like to look and imagine. These strappy flats are great, so versatile and good looking. They would go well with skirt, shorts and dresses in the summer and even stockings in the winter, the perfect pair of shoes if you ask me. I adore the mix of the old fashioned shoe look with an updated modern look, which the thick straps ad. With cute little slogans written in cool fonts with interested drawings, these bags by chipchop are so very cute and stylish, which is always a good mix. They are great for taking to work, school or to the beach, they definatly beat a regular old canvas bag. TRAVEL/ Around the World

I love to travel, unfortunately there are a number of amazing places in my mind I haven't been to yet across the world, but it is always fun to dream and plan for that next place that is completely different from anything you have ever visited or lived in before.





DISNEY LAND


Ever since I was a child watching Disney movies, i have always dreamed of going to Disney Land in Orlando, Florida. Who doesn't dream of walking around wearing some cute mickey mouse ears and riding on rides that scare the daylights out of you, especially when you live somewhere like Australia that is on the other side of the world. That is why when I plan my trip to Orlando, I plan on staying in a hotel like the Lake Buena Vista, which is right by all of the theme parks. They do host events such as American Urological Association Annual Meeting which my stepfather is going to lucky guy, it means he gets to work and have fun because he is so close to all the fun parks, they also have FREE Disney channel, now that is what I call service ;) Close by to universal studios, wet'n'wild, sea world, pleasure island and house of blue, now this seems ideal for my Orlando visit

MALDIVES


The Maldives are a beautiful group of islands with gorgeous crystal blue water and lots of fish. For me, this is one of the ultimate honeymoon destinations. This is the type of holiday destination right out of a movie and I hear it is just as relaxing and surreal as the pictures look. There are lots of hotels for the 'well off' that are situated right above the crystal blue water, take a look bellow for some daydreaming

LONDON


I have always wanted to visit London for its modern architecture, cool markets, celebrity spotting and history. It is not only very fashionable, but the home to many amazing fashion stores that we do not get on this side of the world.
