BEAUTY/ Favourite Things
This post is a list and review of some of my favourite beauty
products at the moment. They all range from well known
brands to possibly some new ones but they should all be
available online. What are some of your favourite tried and
tested beauty products?
And here is the rest of it.
NEUTROGENA Alcohol Free Toner
My all time favourite thing when it comes to make up, is finding
something that really works, that and a good price. To me this is
exactly what this Nutrogena Toner is, a well priced toner that leaves
your skin feeling fresh, clean and not too oily. It is alcohol free,
which is a good thing to look for when putting products on your skin
but it does have a slight scent, which I really like. Toners are usually
applied after a cleanse and before moisturizer, this toner is effective
in picking up any dirt or grime you may have missed earlier.
KERASTASE Conditioner
Right now in Australia it is winter, which means that the cold weather
is really drying out my hair, but hot sunny weather can have similar
damaging effects. Kerastase shampoo and conditioner was
recommended to me by my hairdresser, she told me it would moisturize
and give my hair a very shiny smooth feel. After using this product for
a couple of months I must say that I am addicted. It is not as cheap as
your usually hair care products, but you only have to use the amount of
a 5 cent coin and it really leaves you hair healthy and new
NAPOLEON Madame Fantasia Mascara
There is nothing like a simple and great looking mascara. This mascara
is great because it is thick without being clumpy, the brush is a great
width, which breaks your lashes into nice even parts. The Napoleon
Perdis mascara will lengthen your lashes without looking fake and the
best thing when it comes to mascaras is that it lasts a long time.
MAC Tinted Lip Moisturiser
This is no ordinary lip gloss, it is a tinted lip moisturiser, that comes
in gorgeous colours like peach and pink that not on looks good when
you wear it but does two other good thing, it moisturises your lips and
protects it from the sun with SP15+ . The colours of these moisturisers
are so perfect that I would wear them even as lipsticks, plus they have
some other great things for your lips in them such as Almond Oil, Shea
Butter, Avocado Extract, Wheat Germ Oil, vitamins A and E.
STILA Shimmer Powder
This Stila all over shimmer is a product that can be great for either day
or night, work or going out and on the face or the shoulders. Any way
you choose to use this shimmer powder, it will give you a nice shimmery
look which is not too over the top, so don't worry, you won't turn out
looking like a disco ball. The Shimmer helps to add a bit of life, allure
and shine to your look and works well on all skin types and colours.
