One of the things I get most excited about around fashion
week, isn't the highly styled designers shows, instead it is
the individual and individual style of the everyday people
who attend shows or live in the town. The latest shows
have been New York and London, the landmarks for good
style, so what better place to find inspiring fashion and style.

FASHION/ Chloë Sevigny for Opening Ceremony FW 09
Leather shorts, lace up boots, animal print, coloured braces
and tomboy looks for girls, this is not a review of a 1980s
film, but the latest collection by Chloe Sevigny for Opening
Ceremony. The latest collection features bright colours,
contrasting with soft sorbet tones, and the best bit is she
has designed clothes for both ladies and gentleman, so now
your boyfriend can look as stylish as you do. Although this is
only Chloe's second collection for Opening Ceremony, she
has been able to establish herself and an innovative and
inspiring fashion designer. For this current collection, Chloe
listed skinheads, Connecticut, and NYC punk epicenter St.
Mark's Place as her inspiration, I can't wait to see people
walking around the streets in these fabulous pieces.

FASHION/ Film Stills
I'm sure on this fine Oscars day that we have all been bombarded
with enough pictures of celebrities in the same (slightly altered)
gowns and similar hair do's, so I have instead decided to keep my
dedication to my love of film, but instead these are my favourite
film stills over years and genres that inspire me through make up,
hair and style, as well as the countless inspiring characters I have
always wished I could be.
And here is the rest of it.

Extra points if you can guess which movie each image is from

This weeks random snaps is dedicated to the wonderful,
mysterious, dark, enticing shade, black. Black can hold so
many emotions behind it from the colour of skin to the
colour of a mood, no matter what it is used in connection
to it is always very powerful and never fails to catch my
eye and make me feel some sort of emotion.

MAGAZINE/ Love
Although not all of you may see where I am coming from, I
am really excited about the first cover for the new magazine
called Love. The front cover model is the wonderful Beth Ditto,
stylish lady and singer with one hell of a voice for band The
Gossip. The editor of the magazine Katie Grand (formally of
POP, The Face and Dazed & Confused) has said that it will not
contain anyone of a 'sample size', although it does feature Kate
Moss. Love will be a style and fashion magazine, released
twice a year
